Birthday Weekend…

Last weekend Hubs turned another year younger and we made the occassion extra special.

We started early with a trip to the theatre on Thursday to see, It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Murder. A living black and white play performed by Pegasus Theatre at the Eisemann Centre.

It was an amazing production and we will definitely start keeping an eye on their performance schedule.

We also noted that The Eisemann Centre has some interesting events.  Perhaps our cultural cup will start to overfloweth.

On Friday Hubs took his favorite toy, the tractor and front end loader, to clear some pathways through the woods,

Tractor2

and later we celebrated the end of his year by sitting outside watching the sunset with an ice cold Temptress…

On Saturday, after pressies and coffee, we met his mother and brother and sister-in-law for lunch.

They were celebrating their 39th wedding anniversary and had mimosas.

We re-discovered ceviche and went straight home to make our own!

We found Daughts and her friends splashing around in another inflatable pool,

Pool

we didn’t join them!

Champagne and salmon with salad and vegetables fresh from the garden rounded out the day.

Sunday we shopped a little after mass and I bought a pair of shoes…

“I’m quite sure it is Pops’ birthday not yours,” remarked Daughts when I showed them off!

We took her with us for dinner at a fabulous place called Rockfish,

There seems to have been a fishy theme to the week-end.

Grrr…Happy Birthday Hubs!
