My PerriPoppins daughter is camping in Colorado. Estes Park.
They are really going full out!
Campfire, cowboy stew, smores, tents, singing and hiking.
Except they can’t have a fire so are using a stove…
Instead of cowboy stew, which PerriPoppins was in charge of, they ate at a restaurant…
She did cook breakfast one morning and really played into the joke her father had sent her asking what the astronaut saw on the Space Station stove? The unidentified frying objects in her skillet were very well done pancakes!
They did have hot dogs and marshmallows the second evening…
Hmmm wonder what happened to the onions and mustard?
Her cot collapsed the first night and her sleeping bag zip got stuck but at least she was safe in a tent while the bears prowled…
I don’t think they’ve had a sing-song, that melodious delight is yet to come…
They hiked one day with an all terrain push chair for the young man…
It rained on them!
Internet seems remarkably good too so not really getting away from it all.
I am enjoying my trip to Colorado!
Oh yes and the Golden Arches are never far away from an American family’s picnic table, even the local wildlife are familiar with the provender!
