Donna Tartt has written a very long book.

Called The Goldfinch it weighs in at 755 pages

I have been reading it for two days and hardly made a dent in it as I look over at my bedside table and see the kink where my bookmark is.

I commented to hubs,

“I’m on page 295 and it hardly looks as though I’ve started,”

To which he replied,

“Tear some pages out!”
