Carrying Rubbish…

There is a dustbin pick up at Turkey Creek each Friday and I only know that because I see the bins go out on Thursday evening, or for the procrastinators among the residents, really early Friday morning.
We don’t put our bins out.
We neatly corral our refuse into Kroger bags, or in this case, Wynn Dixie bags, gather the bio-degradable poo bags into a plastic container (an empty Tide Pod canister) and put everything into a large drawstring bin bag to be placed into the trash can and wait to be taken into La Belle the next time we visit for our weekly shop or to attend mass.
Sometimes though this happens when we arrive home,
and we groan…
We have forgotten.
Another week of festering rubbish in the enclosed heat of the bins.

As a homeschooling Mum I have finally quit the job of role model and mentor to my four children. I do what I want to do, eat when I feel like it, enjoy life with my blue eyed cowboy and clean my house once a month or so whether it needs it or not!
