Ghost…

Daughts decided she wanted to see Ghost at the Music Hall in Dallas.  No-one else was available to accompany her (pay for her ticket) so she bought herself a cheapie in the nosebleed section and marked her calendar.

We’d seen it together in London two years ago when she travelled across the pond with us to attend a Performing Arts School for her final year.  She had cried from start to finish and declared it,

“The best musical I have ever seen.”

But before her eyes grew puffy we had taken her for a little snack-a-roo at a Patisserie nearby that charged us double for the privilege of sitting at a table to eat from a plate with silverware, a glass of water and a vase with a single yellow fuchsia.

It wouldn’t have tasted nearly as good out of a paper bag!

From our hotel room in Galveston we asked her if she had plenty of tissues?

“I’ve a wad of toilet paper!”

“Are you all right on your own?” we were a little worried.

“Yes!  Even though I have a room mate and a boy friend I still love doing things by myself.  I can’t wait to sob  uncontrollably and wipe my nose on a stranger’s sleeve!”

She treated herself to a drink,

WaterDate

with her water date!

We sat in our room with our coffee date,

CoffeeDate

“You two are absolutely adorable!”  she texted during intermission!

We ate our second room picnic!
