The classroom wall I sat opposite this morning, while my students (for the day) read through and answered questions on chapter 10 of The Odyssey, was truly inspirational,
What perfect imagery, butterflies flurrying from the pages of a book as ideas and thoughts to illumine the minds and souls where they alight.
It brought to mind a Christmas card we had designed years ago as a family.
A ladybird Daughts had drawn, carrying postcards bearing the various names of Christ to be delivered as she flew away home.

As a homeschooling Mum I have finally quit the job of role model and mentor to my four children. I do what I want to do, eat when I feel like it, enjoy life with my blue eyed cowboy and clean my house once a month or so whether it needs it or not!
In true English form I write about the emergence of my true identity now that I can no longer hide behind my children as their Mum.
