Blake the Big Dog, so the story goes, was weaned a little too soon.
Consequently he likes to suck his favorite toy, an alligator I’ve christened Ally.
“He doesn’t chew it or pull it apart, he just loves it to death,” I was told.
We’ll see about that, I thought and true enough, he is very gentle with his binkie,
usually!
Until yesterday….
He was so sad!
Before hubs could sew poor Ally together I had to wash the saliva, that makes her ever so lovable, away. And so as not to lose the rest of her stuffing I stapled her together,
with nifty hair clips.
Now she is as good as new but Big Dog won’t let her out of his sight!
Not even for walkies!

As a homeschooling Mum I have finally quit the job of role model and mentor to my four children. I do what I want to do, eat when I feel like it, enjoy life with my blue eyed cowboy and clean my house once a month or so whether it needs it or not!
