This is for you Daughts, and in case all of you think she’s a pooper when it comes to dogs, here she is with the winner of the Wet Dog Competition,

Enough about her, now for my pair of pooches!

I had to give the dogs their heart worm and flea tablets.

I noticed some tablet pockets in the doggie medicine cupboard and brought those along with me thinking they were  a good idea!

Upstairs I trotted to give the dogs their meds.

They were excited, anything for attention.

I started with Little Sweetie, her pill fit perfectly in the pocket

and with a little bit of coaxing she swallowed it.

Then I opened Big Dog’s blister pack and thought, are you kidding me?

There was  no way that  huge tablet will fit in that little pocket, so I improvised,

I looked at Big Dog, he looked at the scrummy packet and I gave it to him.  He deftly ate all the pocket and spat out the tablet,

and sniffed at it on the tile.

Now what?

Then I remembered I’d been told they’ll do anything for cheese so off I went to the fridge,

and used a whole slice to burrito wrap the pill,

I knew he would employ the same trick with the cheese and friendly as he is I hadn’t raised him and I was not going to put my hand in that mouthful of teeth,

I gently gave it to him, he tried sucking off the cheese but I put my hand over his mussel and he swallowed the lot!

Little sweetie was watching!

They both were watching,

so yes!  They got cheese as a big, big thank you for helping me keep them healthy,
