There is nothing quite so enticing to a Brit than a good old fashioned pudding.
Since entering the EU (European Union) our horizons have been expanded to include pastries from the Continent, look at this list from Paris.
We have our bakeries with sausage rolls, pasties, scones, sticky buns and bread pudding, but the patisseries I pass while walking in many parts of the city are eye catching,
their windows, works of art,
and mouth-wateringly arresting, with their fruit tartes, eclairs, macarons and mille fleur,
offered to eat in at a table with coffee or tea, or to take away to add class to a hum drum picnic.
Ooh and let’s not forget the wine accompaniment!
