Andy Waters Lakeside Park borders the main lake at Hideaway.

Years ago we parked our van there on 4th July to watch fireworks over the water. For the first and last time the children were allowed to sit on the roof; we had covered it with quilts to protect the paintwork.

I sometimes walk through the little 1 acre park to get closer to the water.

There are stone benches and a couple of marble tables inviting picnics.

There are no gates or fences.

But there is this cautionary sign,
